Federal University Of Lafia Commence Screening Excercise for The 2022/2023 Admission Applicants.

POST - UTME SCREENING FOR THE 2022/2023 SESSION ADMISSION EXERCISE

All candidates who applied for admission into degree programmes of Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa State for the 2022/2023 Academic Session are hereby notified of  registration for Post- UTME online registration.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SCREENING

i. Five (5) 'O' Level credits in relevant subjects (including Mathematics and English Language) in not more than two (2) sittings.

ii. A JAMB UTME score if 170 and above *(200 and above for Human Anatomy and Physiology, 210 for Nursing and Radiography, 220 for MLS and 230 for MBBS).

iii. Must have chosen Federal University of Lafia as their first choice.

REGISTRATION
Registration for the screening exercise will commence on September 16, 2022 and close on October 16, 2022. Applicants are required to pay the sum of Two Thousand naira (N2, 000.000) only for the screening exercise.

PROCEDURE FOR THE ADMISSION SCREENING

1. Visit https://fmis.fulafia.edu.ng/putme/login.php, enter your UTME Registration Number and click on Log In.

2. Verify that the information displayed to you by the system on the payment page is correct, add your phone number and email address and click on "Pay Now" Button to pay for the RRR generated.

3. You can choose to either pay online by clicking or pay at any Commercial Bank via clicking. If you choose to pay online, you would be redirected to Remita where you would have 5 options to pay . (a) MasterCard: Enter your card number, Expiry date, CVV, and click on pay  (b) Bank Branch: Print the invoice and proceed to any commercial bank. (c) USSD:  Dial *737*000*Your RRR# on your phone number registered with GTB or Dial *770*000*Your RRR# on your phone number registration with FIDELITY Bank (d) Internet Banking: Select your bank from the dropdown and follow the prompt. (e) e-Wallet: You can use Paga Account

4. Payment must be initiated from FMIS Platform. Any RRR not generated on the portal would not be recognized by the portal and it would be difficult for any student to have successful registration in this case. Please note that if you choose an option to pay via MasterCard, you would be immediately redirected to a page where you can continue with your registration after successful payment. However, if you choose to pay via other options, then you must log in again to your portal account and click on "Verify Payment Made". Your payment would be instantly verified, and you would be redirected to a page where you can continue with your registration.

5. Enter your scratch card information to fetch your O/level results, fill the application form correctly and click " Submit" button.

NB: Federal University of Lafia Remedial and IJMB students must also participate in the Post- UTME screening exercise to be admitted.

uploading of O'level results

Most students do no know about uploading of O'level results, at the registration point some upload the o'level results (if it is read), however some do not upload the results because of time they just use awaiting results (A/R) instead thinking after the exam the candidate we re-upload.
      It is advisable to upload your o'level result to JAMB if you have it but if it is not ready you can upload anytime your result is ready. Please not that if your o'level result is not uploaded to your portal you can be denied admission.
How to upload o'level result to JAMB
First if you want to upload your o'level result, get your WECE,NECO, NABTEB, GCE etc ready take it to any JAMB accredited CBT center (not a cafe) tell them you want to upload your o'level result and they will upload it for you. Please confirm if your o'level result has reflected on you caps.

How to confirm if your o'level result has reflected on your JAMB caps
To confirm if your o'level is uploaded properly log on to  //portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_ Via chrome browser, tap on the short arrow/ 3 mounted dots at the top right side,
now tap on desktop mode to enable larger view. Then input your email address and your password tap on login. Now tap on check admission status, After it loads tap on my o'level if it is uploaded it will display your o'level result, but if your o'level result is not uploaded (A/R) it will be empty.

They are various universities in Nigeria that do not write post UTME exams. However some institution conduct online screening, where you will required to upload your details, for instance your O'level result, UTME exams score, state of origin,date of birth etc.
  Most universities that conduct online screening requires 5 credit passes in O'level including mathematics and english, be it WEAC, NECO, NABTEB, GCE. You must possess the institution's requirements, most institutions accept only first choice, you are required to meet the UTME cut off mark of the institution.
